Growing
in tandem with Asia's licensing community, the Hong
Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) and the International
Licensing Industry Merchandisers' Association (LIMA)
are pleased to again co-organise the Premier Asian
Licensing Awards.
Since
its launch in 2004, the Awards continue to recognise
the outstanding achievements and creativity of key
licensing players throughout Asia. Companies with
promotion programmes or licensed products developed
and/or launched in Asia during the calendar year
of 2004 were invited to submit their nominations.
Online
Submission
All
nominations were submitted online through the official
Award website before 15 April 2005. With two new categories,
the Award Evaluation Committee was delighted to have
received a total of 56 nominations from Hong Kong,
mainland China, France, Japan, Singapore, South Korea,
Taiwan, Thailand, the UK and the USA.
Online
Voting
Conducted
by prominent professionals from various licensing
sectors in Asia, the Award Evaluation Committee shortlisted
nominees for online voting in May 2005.
LIMA
members, past and pre-registered visitors and exhibitors
of the Hong Kong International Licensing Show were invited to
cast their online ballots in June 2005. Winners
of the Awards would be announced this evening at
the Award Presentation Gala Dinner on 6 July 2005.
